Questions
Answers before you spec
The questions we hear most from contractors, engineers, and procurement teams — with straight answers.
What is ringlock scaffolding?
Ringlock is a modular system built around a cast rosette node welded to the vertical standard. Ledgers and braces lock into the rosette with a hammer-less wedge, so structures go up faster and with fewer loose parts than tube-and-coupler scaffolding.
How is ringlock different from cuplock?
Both are modular, but ringlock's eight-point rosette accepts connections at more angles and uses a single wedge action rather than a rotating cup. Crews typically erect ringlock 30–50% faster, which is why it has become the default for façade and event work.
What load can a rosette node carry?
Our standards are rated to 80 kN allowable load per ledger connection and 60 kN per brace, verified by proof-load testing on 100% of production. Full load tables ship with every order and are available on request.
Can the system be used for shoring?
Yes. With the heavy-duty standard and base jack, ringlock is widely used for slab and soffit shoring. We supply a shoring take-off service so the configuration matches your concrete loads.
What finishes and coatings are available?
Standard finish is hot-dip galvanising to ISO 1461 with a 20-year warranty. Painted and powder-coated options are available for archival or branded installations.
What are your typical lead times?
Stock items ship within 7–10 working days. Mixed container orders run 25–35 days including galvanising. Project volumes are scheduled against a confirmed delivery plan.
Do you ship worldwide?
We export to 60+ countries through regional distributors and direct container shipments. Our team handles documentation, marking, and Incoterms to your port.
Do you provide erection drawings and load calculations?
Yes — every order includes generic erection guidance, and project orders include tailored drawings, load tables, and calculations stamped by a chartered engineer.
Is on-site training available?
We run supervisor training at our plant and can arrange a site induction through your local distributor. Ask our team when you request a quote.
Still have a question?
Our engineering team answers technical queries the same working day.
